Bear. Louie.
We have been blessed to adopt two great dogs, Bear and Louie. Bear is our oldest. He is 12 years old and still doing very well despite being as old as Grandma Marcie :) We adopted Bear from the Human Society in St. Louis. Bear is tan in color. He is part chow, german shepherd and more! He is a very smart dog and loves to be challenged. He knows words like "Daddy is coming", "Lets go get the mail", and "Want some Ice Cream". Bear loves company and enjoys exploring the Colorado Mountains with his dad.
Louie is 7. We adopted him from the Humane Society in Denver. He is black, white and tan with big brown eyes. We believe he is part german shepherd, hound and more! He looks to Bear for everything. Louie loves to cuddle. In fact, when Tim and I are home watching TV, Louie will get up on his part of the couch, put his head on a pillow and go to sleep. Louie's favorite activity is to play fresbie and sleeps with his yellow ball every night! As of March 16, 2014 our beloved Louie passed away from a possibly bloated stomach which lead to organ failure and a heart attack. We never saw the signs and it was very quickly. We miss him so much and know one day we will see him again! We love junior!
Bear went over the rainbow bridge on April 11, 2021. He was 16 years and 9 months and he just couldn't walk anymore. We both think he lived longer because of Covid and Daddy was always there. He was the best dog ever. He loved his family and loved his snacks. He will always love his beloved "Ham" which is Grammy. He loved to swim and he loved to explore his land. He literally was in every house that Tim and I either rented or owned which is ALOT! It is crazy to think that we got him before we were engaged!!! I loved all our games we played, especially hide and seek in the house! We miss him so much but know that it was time and that we gave him the best life ever! Cant wait to see him again!
AND we welcome a new dog in our new Puerto Rico home. He was found along the side of the road with his 4 siblings and we adopted him on January 16th. Meet our brand new puppy GUS!
