2021 was a very unexpected year! Covid was still around and along with that comes the vaccine question, a new president (Biden), masks everywhere but things slowly starting to get back to normal! We were still homeschooling. Kendall was doing gymnastics and competed in level 4 state. She placed 2nd overall! Eva was Mayor Shinn in Music Man-that girl loves to ACT! And Saul was playing baseball and hockey! In May we took a 3 week trip to PUERTO RICO! It was beautiful to say the least and much needed over the past year dealing with Covid. My parents tagged along too. While there we became more and more confident that God was leading us to the island as our next adventure.!

I'm back to continue where I left off. Covid was a crazy time. Tim had just started working AFC in January 2020 and now was working from home. We moved into our beautiful home and made a lot of friends but it was hard as everyone was wearing masks and still staying 6 feet away from each other. Kamp was cancelled for the summer, so we went to St. Louis for "Grammy Kamp." The kids had a blast! We celebrated the 4th of July in our new neighborhood, still had our A-Z list of summer fun. Oh and Bear turned 16! We also made a decision to HOMESCHOOL. We had just turned our storage space in our basement into a cute classroom and I was going to play TEACHER! It was cumbersome to piece together curriculum but through facebook groups and friends I was able to do it. Plus the kids each had an enrichment program where they would attend every Tuesday and Thursday so it would give me a break-Girls went to Shiloh Christian Academy and Saul Academy Charter. Homeschool was an adjustment for us all but it was nice to be finished with school by 1P everyday and to realx a bit before afternoon/evening activities took place and no homework was also a plus! 2020 was a crazy time but actually enjoyed spending time together at home and being able to homeschool was a blessing. It is still on my mind to be that Disney Travel Agent but that had to wait as teaching is a full time job! Up next 2021!
Has it seriously been 2 years?!!! Crazy how time flies or does it. It has been a really long two years with COVID 19. But let me back up a bit. Disney World 2020 was AWESOME!!! I mean so awesome. I came back wanting to become a Disney Travel Agent...maybe someday! The kids favorite ride was Everest and we just a fabulous time. I will post pictures below. 3 Weeks following Disney the pandemic started-Covid 19. We were told to stay inside, no grocery stores, no church, no activities, no work, no school. Everything was to be done at the house or online. It stayed that way until the end of April. It was nerve wracking as one of us might come down with Covid and put us in the hospital. But if I truly admit it, I enjoyed the peace it brought to us all. It was great being cozied in and watching TV. It was nice not having activities or activities were done online. It was nice to not leave the house. But once the warm weather hit, we were anxious to get out and not only get out but we ended up leaving our neighborhood after 6 years and moved right down the road to The Preserve....its too much to put in one blog so stay tuned. I promise to write more, but pictures up to that point first!
Happy 2020! I can't believe how long its been since I wrote last and so much has happened! First and foremost everyone is getting older which is good but also sad :( I wrote and published my infertility devotional called Tamar's Desire. It hasn't been purchased much but I am glad to have written my story and hope that it can help even just one person! Tim has taken a brand new job as CEO of American Financing. He wanted to try something new and this was the perfect opportunity that literally landed in his lap. Plus it doesn't hurt that the owner wants us to take lots of trips to Puerto Rico! He is also the announcer and head ref for the all the home swim meets! We also bought a second home in Durango, Colorado to boat on Lake Navajo and to spend lots of family time. We VRBO it when we don't use it but its been a great family retreat for us! The kids are doing well. Eva is still swimming but finding out that she has a love for the arts and she is super good at it! Kendall is still a competitive gymnast and loves it and Saul is still going with the flow....almost in Kindie and now has taken up playing hockey! Bear is still going strong at the age of 15!!!! We are gearing up for a huge Disney World trip in the the next month! Stay tuned for more Hager adventures!
What a year we had and are still having! Just to highlight a few items. Abby and Welles make an appearance and Annie and Steve will be having another boy soon. Kendall made level 3 JO Gymnastics, Eva made ACES Swim Team, Saul swam in mini tarps and played soccer where he was the leading goal scorer. He also played t-ball. Bear turned 14. Tim bought us a boat and a slip in Lake Navajo Marina and became the official judge and MC for the Homestead Farm Swim Team and I turned 40 in NYC! e spent spring break in Scottsdale and the Grand Canyon. The kids just went back to school, the girls in 3rd grade and Saul in Pre-K. Our summer was filled with swimming and activities A-Z . It was so much fun! Currently, I am busy putting the finishing touches on my manuscript devotional surrounding infertility that I am hoping will hit stores by the holidays. Life is good. Thanks be to God! What a summer! And boy did it fly by! We had a blast with swim team, Kendall made Dynamite. Saul started Ninja class. We went to Steamboat Springs for the 4th and to St. Louis at the end of July for Emily's baby shower. We also swam, biked, hiked, went on numerous outings and just had a blast! Bear turned 13...yikes! And I turned another year closer to 40!! School started at the end of August and the girls are in 2nd grade and Saul started Preschool 3's. Lots to look forward to this school year!!!
Its Crazy that Saul just turned 3!!!! The girls are about to be finished with 1st grade! They are reading now and can tell time and do small math problems. I see a lemonade stand in the near future. Saul loves everything guns and Superheros. In fact his room with his big boy bed is completely decked out in Hulk, Spiderman, Superman and the like! Its going to be an awesome summer. Speaking of awesome...Tim and I finally took our Bora Bora Trip. It was stunning and a trip of a lifetime. We even took a helicopter ride! Upon arriving back in the states we found out that we will have two new nephews and/or nieces!!! Both due in November! Eva is still into swimming and just landed the part of Jessie in toy Story. Kendall is into gymnastics and Saul is wrapping up all his Mommy and Tot classes. He loves baseball and can really hit the ball! Bear is almost 13 and still loves to play baby and have his ice cream! Summer is almost here and we cannot wait to grill out, swim constantly and just have fun!

Eva is still really involved in swimming and Kendall in gymnastics. Saul take a music class, a gym class and we just signed him up for swim lessons. We just got back into town from a family weekend to Crested Butte where we skied. The girls are so good! Saul tried it for the first time as well. Just staying busy and looking forward to warmer months ahead!
I am going to try to be better about writing on this blog once a month! The girls just had their 7th birthday! Crazy how time flies. They are now in 1st grade in different classrooms and seem to be loving it. Kendall is still really involved in gymnastics and Eva loves to swim! Saul is our little crazy 2 year old man and has to be just like daddy. He loves his hair!! He is on the cusp of finally being potty trained.whew! Tim is still super busy as the Regional President of Iheart Media Denver but seems to be taking it all in and doing well! I just wrapped up the Homestead Farm 1st every adult volleyball league that I started and am on the Board of the Mothers of Multiples Club.
